My love for dog training started well before Outland K9 but my passion for training was kicked into overdrive after I picked up my first puppy which just so happened to be a German Shorthair Pointer. For those of you that don’t know, they are a highly energetic breed that is known for being independent and intelligent. Of course, I figured my basic knowledge of dogs and training would be sufficient but this dog tested me at every turn. After reading many books and A LOT of trial and error, I was able to succeed in my training efforts and this is when I realized my passion was Dog Training.

I started my professional dog training career working for Valor K9 in Orlando, FL. I was able to work with a countless number of dogs and a large variety of breeds running their In Home training along side getting my Engineering degree at University of Central Florida. I worked on puppy development, obedience, and behavior modification.

During that time, I also attended online seminars put on by some of the best trainers in the world such as Nino Drowaert of STSk9.
